Pastor LaYona Washington

Pastor LaYona Washington is a native of North Little Rock, Arkansas. She currently resides in Hofheim-Wallau where she serves as the Executive Pastor of Faith Temple Christian Center International (FTCCI). She is married to Bishop Kendall L. Washington Sr., who oversees the European Region of Unity Christian Fellowship International Ministries (UCFI) and the Senior Pastor of FTCCI.

She faithfully served as a Human Resource Specialist for the Department of the Army for more than 20 years. She is currently serving as the Vice-Director along with being a classroom facilitator for Faith Academy International School (FAIS), home of the “Soaring Eagles”, established in September of 2014.

She has a heartfelt passion for the empowerment of women and marital growth in ministry. God has blessed this heartfelt desire by allowing her to teach women their roles in the family, the home, the community, and the church throughout the world. She has also obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Ministry, from Christian University of Southern Indiana.

She truly desires to totally fulfill the purpose God has ordained for her life and live a life where others may see Him in her — ultimately leaving a mark in the hearts of others that may never be erased.

As a result of this, she is now a published author. In June of 2016, she released ‘Memoirs of the Heart’ which is now available for purchase on Amazon.
